TO ALL OUR READERS

In the November issue of the Uniacke Newsletter Stories from the Barn introduced us to Dream and her deformity and the fact that others made fun of her because she was different. Dream was chosen for a reason. That reason was to bring happiness to people less fortunate than others. Being different takes on many forms “looks, habits, speech, dress, movements, capabilities, etc". That what makes everyone special in their own way. Blue eyes, red hair, freckles, tall, short, etc. Imagine how boring the world would be if we were all the same? Imagine how little we would or could learn if everyone was the same! We learn from the differences around us. We learn from the sameness around us. The smile on children's faces is evidence enough that Dream works. To dream is to live and to live is to dream. Without our dreams and aspirations we have nothing. Treat others as you would like to be treated and you cannot go wrong. Why waste valuable time in your life by making fun of others or picking on others because they don't look or act like you? Remember, but for the good luck of being normal goes you or I. And the word normal is "different" for everyone.
