STOP THE QUARRY EXPANSION
COPIED FROM FACEBOOK ENTRY FROM A CONCERNED CITIZEN
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, here's a list of to who, how, and where to send your continued concerns from now until, Oct. 18th. DECISION DAY!!! We pray though, to hear before then, that all of our community's submissions to Government to date have been heard and we succeeded in DELAYING that decision.....that's our GOAL.
But if we find out through our MLA, Brad Johns, who you met at our Firehall meeting, that it looks like the Minister is going to approve them come that date in October, WITHOUT the benefit of the called for, full investigation into NCCI's evidenced wrongdoings - proof of their non-compliance with their 2015 Approval and other negative impacts to the environment up there. That is our 'one and only' crucial power chip at the moment. And for our Gov't to just ignore that, and turn a blind eye to those wrongdoings would be at such a level of negligence to this community, that we simply CANNOT ALLOW to happen!!!
Hopefully, you saved your other submissions to the public comments EA site, to copy/paste and either email/phone/or send by regular mail, to the contacts below, over the next two weeks. Send multiple times so they HEAR US!!! Let them know folks, we're NOT BACKING DOWN on this MUCH NEEDED investigation!!!
