In this month of gratitude, we are giving thanks for our sacred stories.
Every week, we gather to hear froma text that guided many of our ancestors for generations. I never cease to be amazed at how timeless these stories remain. How is it that something written two to three thousand years ago, will feels relevent today?
In this session, we are pondering our Hebrew Bible / Old Testament stories through the lens of "identity".
What do these passages have to say about who we are and who we are called to be? How do we support one another in fulfilling these calls and growing God's peace, hope and love in our world?
And, how do we find courage, community and gratitude in the midstof challenging times?"
You are invited to join us as we explore these questions, and more, inthe months to come.
JESSIE
