Without question, this last month has represented one of the greatest honours of my life

It's an immense privilege to be named Canada's MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE, AGRI-FOOD AND RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPEMNT.

I am excited to get to work in representing Kings-Hants on the national stage - and I look forward to working should-to-shoulder with Prime Minister Carney in building up our country - bigger, better and stronger than ever before.

As the prime Minister reiterated, now is the time to unite Canada by Focusing on our shared values and common goals. It's time to spend less, and invest more. It's time to secure new trading partners and build one strong Canadian economy.

In addition to getting to work in fulfilling my new duties, I was also glad to get back home to help with some local funding initiatives and attend a number of community events across the riding.
