CITIZENS ON PATROL - NOVA SCOTIA

Citizens on Patrol is a group of volunteers who work with the local RCMP detachment and act as an extra set of eyes and ears on the roadways of their community. They have been instrumental in reporting break-ins at local businesses, impaired driving reports and help keep an eye on empty homes and businesses after hours. Volunteers receive training and take part in various activities with the local crime prevention association.
