CENOTAPH UPDATE - December 2024

First, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to our fundraising efforts. Together we have raised over $30,000.00. Whether you attended an event ofrdonated, it is all helping us to accomplish this task.

To date we have accomplished most of the preparation work needed to get the area ready. * the area where the container is being moved to has been prepared (footing / gravel / weed barrier). * the container has been moved to the new location. * the container has been painted. * the artwork for the wrap has been completed (design is in the works)

Now that we have a clean slate it's time to get started on the important work.

The next meeting will be held on January 15, 2025 at 7PM in the Legion downstairs hall.

Anyone interested is welcome to attend.

At this meeting we will be taking names of people who are interested in being part of the formal committee. The committee will be a limited number of people and from different backgrounds and households.

We are still looking for other volunteers to be part of the ongoing fundraising.
