Please support the Girl Guides in the final months of our fundraising for the Uniacke Rangers Unit planning a trip to the World Guiding Center for 2025.

The fundraising for our trip to the International World Guiding Centre continues and the countdown is on! Some of our costs have unexpectedly increased - cost of flights and hotels have been really impacted by the value of our Canadian dollar; the UK has a new visa requirement for Canadians which has a fee, and a couple of our fundraisers were impacted by the crazy weather we have been experiencing.

So, with only 4 months remaining to fundraise the monies we appreciate any support you can give us on this final leg. On the trip we will visit the birthplace of the guiding movement, learn about a new culture, meet girls from around the world and engage in an international leadership conference empowering girls to take action and be community minded citizens.

1. GIFT BASKET TICKETS - we are selling tikets on gift baskets value at $465.00. Tickets are $1.00 for 1; $2.00 for 3; $5.00 for 10. the Draw Date is April 1, 2025 at St. Paul's Church (Lottery Permit: AGD-348169-24). Reach out to us to buy tickets!

2. BOTTLE DRIVE - Please take the time to donate your money-back recyclables to our accounts under the name 3rd Carter Rangers at O'Connell's Recycling at 15 Sackville Cross Rd., Lower Sackville. This accont will remain open until the third week in June so keep us in mind!

3. Spring Classic Cookies (chocolate and vanilla) will arrive by the end of March. Eddy's Variety will be graciously hosting us on Friday evenings in April as well as the Thursday evening before Good Friday. You can also reach out to us to order some boxes, or even a case to share with family and friends!
