UNIACKE & DISTRICT VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT.

The chill in the air, rain and dampness didn’t stop hundreds of brave people from coming out Friday evening and having fun in the rain and a windy Saturday didn’t stop people from enjoying the 2019 Firefighters’ Fair! Thank you immensely to everyone who showed up and supported the Fire Department again this year.

Unfortunately, rainy Friday meant the fireworks company were unable to come out Friday afternoon to set up and the fireworks were called off. We had requested a rain date of Saturday but, at the same time the request was made, the weather wasn’t looking any better Saturday afternoon even though the weather turned out just fine. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, rides, bingo and parade.

All firefighters would like to thank everyone for their support. We couldn’t do it without you year after year. Here are the winners of all events throughout the weekend.

50/50 WINNER: Rhonda Parsons. Rhonda donated her share of the winnings ($927) back to the fire department and thanked us for our dedication to the community. Thank you kindly to Rhonda for the donation.
