JIM & SANDY BEAMISH

JIM & SANDY BEAMISH have always been active in the community of Mount Uniacke since moving here in 1978. From being leaders in Scouting and Girl Guides to coaching softball for 9 years and helping with the upkeep of the fields and organization of banquets. Sandy volunteered at UDS before becoming a member of the staff where she worked until her retirement. She is known for her homemade tea biscuits and strawberry jam and her willingness to help anyone using her sewing skills. Some of you will know dad from the many years he has supplied you with your firewood for the winter or because he helped fix your AC or refrigerator. They have both been active members of their church - Saint Francis of Assisi.

On Saturday, October 26th the children of Jim & Sandy will be hosting an open house at the Uniacke Fire Hall between the hours of 7PM – 12AM to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary. This is such an amazing milestone and we couldn’t be happier to join them in celebrating their love for each other. There will be a live band and finger foods available as well as a cash bar (non-alcoholic drinks will be provided free of charge). We hope to see you there!
