CN is selling the railway property to Windsor & Hantsport Railway less than one month after Uniacke Trails formed and began to stir the political pot, and inquire about the rail property. The rail has been inactive for almost a decade and has gone to disrepair, and now they want to buy it. Meanwhile, W&HR still has no intent to operate a train.

To put this in perspective, CN currently leases to W&HR. W&HR wants to sublease the property to community groups or Government for $4000/km/year. Uniacke Trails wants Government to buy the property from CN and not deal with W&HR at all. If W&HR owns it, then they can put their $4000/km lease back on the table. Do you see what’s happening here?
We want this sale to stop because it is setting us backwards on our goal and not forward.

Please let your politicians and CN know what you think about this!
