ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - INFORMATION ON BURSARIES

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #165 is offering TWO $1,000.00 Bursaries to students graduating High School and entering Post Graduate study: a. Students must reside within the area served by Uniacke District School (corresponds also to the area served by Royal Canadian Legion Branch #165)

b. Based on financial need of student.

c. All inforamtion provided by the students will be held in strict conficence.

d. To be presented at graduation in June and paid to the students upon proof of registration in a college, university, or community college.

e. Applicable to first year post graduate study only.

f. Applications must be received by May 15th.

Applications can be obtained from the school Guidance Counsellor or by contacting uniacke & District Br. #165.

NOTE: A ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BURSARY APPLICATION FORM FOR $1000 IS INSERTED INTO THE HARD COPY OF THE CURRENT NEWSLETTER FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE (Fill it out and return it to the Legion. Any questions, please direct them to the Legion directly. Also, request a copy of the bursary application directly from the Legion if you you cannot find any Newsletters containing the application.)
