TAEKWON-DO SUCCESS

Students from Jim’s Taekwon-do in Windsor brought home a total of 10 medals consisting of 4 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze from the 12th Annual Rumble on the Rock held in Saint John’s NL , May 13, 2017.
As well as attending numerous tournaments throughout the year, Mr. Hiltz and his students host their own Jim’s Taekwon-do Valley Open Arts Tournament every October at King’s Edgehill. Mr. Hiltz teaches students who range in age from 5 years old to adults. He helps them build important life skills such as self confidence, respect for themselves and others and discipline. Students learn self defense, street proofing and a love of physical fitness.
Mr. Hiltz, pictured on the far right, and all of his students, are pleased to congratulate Hunter Smith, center front (gold in sparring, gold in patterns), and from L to R, Julia Gazley (gold in sparring, bronze in patterns), Alyne Stene (gold in sparring, bronze in patterns), Bryan Stene (bronze in sparring, bronze in patterns) and Les Gazley (silver in sparring, bronze in patterns) for their success at Rumble on the Rock XII hosted by Downey’s Taekwon-do.
